We are all immigrants
We welcome immigrants not because they are American,
but because we are American.
Immigrant Care Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to enabling undocumented immigrants to get access to affordable health care.
We are a collective of common people, Americans and legal immigrants, that believe there is an injustice towards undocumented immigrants
DO WE DO IT?
Because health is not only a human right, but also the basis for happiness and for full integration into the American society

This is Lorena
He is an undocumented immigrant in the United States where spends almost every day of his life living in fear. Marcos never knew that being “illegal” stops one from so many things here in the U S. Not until she lost Alonso, one of her childhood friends who was also an undocumented immigrant, to a serious health condition. Alonso couldn’t get medical help through Medicare nor Medicaid. And his condition got worse and worse. Today, Marcos is 19 years old and he’s scared. He keeps wondering why people can’t enjoy the luxury of full health care services regardless of their immigration status.
Her parents moved to the US when she was one. Lorena has 2 younger siblings who were born on American soil. But she hasn’t been to the doctor since she was 6 and now she’s 17 years old. Kelly’s dream career is to become an engineer and she doesn’t even know how to pay for college tuition. Recently, she found out that she can’t apply for FAFSA. With no workers permit or license, there’s no way she could get jobs to make her dream come true. And that’s not all. She feels stuck and helpless anytime she catches the flu or infection. Does it mean she isn’t worthy to get access to medications just like her younger siblings?
